                Career Guidance Cell informs that GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2022 – GAIL India Limited will open the online application for the recruitment of executive trainee through GATE 2022 from February 15. The detailed procedure for GAIL recruitment through GATE 2022 can be checked here. The application process will be open till March 16, 2022. No application fee have to be paid by the candidates.

GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2022 will be open for Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. Students who have done UG engineering course in the Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electrical or its allied discipline will be able to apply for GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2022. Students are advised to ensure their eligibility of course and other mandatory criteria before applying for GAIL through GATE 2022 for executive trainees for Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering disciplines. GAIL Recruitment through GATE will be open only for candidates who qualify GATE 2022 with a valid score. Eligibility Criteria for GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2022

Candidates must have studied full time courses starting from the Class X stage till graduation or Post graduation Engineering Degree can be B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Engg Integrated ME/ M. Tech candidates: Candidates having 5 years B.E / B. Tech. + M.E / M. Tech. integrated dual degree in engineering in a relevant discipline can also apply
3	Year of Passing	Candidates passing in 2020 or earlier are not eligible
4	Minimum Pass Percentage	General and OBC (NCL) category: Minimum 65% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam SC/ST/PwD category: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate
5	Final year students	At the time of filling application, form candidates must have obtained the specified % till the last semester. General & OBC-NCL category students must have secured minimum 65% Marks in aggregate SC/ST/PWD candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate However, such candidates must submit their final mark sheet tentatively by 31st August, 2022 and should meet the prescribed eligibility criteria

How to Apply for GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2022

• The application process for GAIL recruitment was online.
• To apply, candidates must choose the relevant post
• Candidates had to enter the name of the post applied for, email ID and date of birth.
• Next, candidates had to choose the qualifying exam, followed by Personal details, and Education and Experience.
• Candidates were also required to enter their GATE registration number as mentioned in their GATE 2022 admit card.
• Upon successful submission of the application form, a unique GAIL application number was generated to be noted down by candidates for their reference.
• Candidates should also download and keep printout of GAIL application as it might be required for future reference. They are required to affix a photograph (identical to the one used in GATE 2022) on the application.

Training-cum-probation: Candidates who get selected as E-2 grade executive trainee must undergo one year of training-cum-probation. On successful completion of the one-year period, candidates will be absorbed in the same pay scale in E-2 grade.

During and post training-cum-probation, candidates may be posted at any of the installations, projects, or offices of GAIL(India) Ltd. or its subsidiaries/joint ventures.
