                     Career Guidance Cell informs that Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) Centralised Employment Notification for recruitment vacancy of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and various Technician positions in various units of Indian Railways. Indian Railway RRBs invites Online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for fill up 17673 Vacancies of ALP and 8829 Vacancies of various posts of Technicians. RRB ALP Technician Recruitment 2018 Online Registration open from 3rd February 2018 and will be close on 5th March 2018.

Pay Scale: ₹ 19900/- (Level 2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus Allowances as admissible for the posts.

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) -> Matriculation (10th Class / Class X) / SSLC with ITI / Course Completed Act Apprentices (OR) Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering or relevant discipline. Technicians -> Matriculation (10th Class / Class X) / SSLC Plus ITI/ Course Completed Act Apprentices (OR) 10+2 with Physics and Maths (OR) Diploma in Engineering (As Applicable). For detailed qualification and eligibility check out official notice, Download link given below.

Selection Process: Only single online application for ALP and Technician Posts. The Recruitment process shall involve, First stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Second stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (Only for ALP Posts) and Document Verification as applicable.

(a) For ALP –> Two Stage Computer Based Examination (CBT) followed by Aptitude test and Verification of Original Documents. 

(b) For Technicians –> Two Stage Written Examination (CBT) followed by Verification of Original Documents.

Examination Fee: The fee should be made through Online payment (Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card) OR SBI Bank Challan OR Post Office Challan.

(a) A Non-refundable ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates.
(b) ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen/ PWDs/ All Female/ Transgender/ Minorities / Economically backward class Candidates. This fee shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges to such candidates who appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

How to Apply: Candidates are advised to register online application through RRBs Centralized Online Recruitment Portal. The last date for registration of online application is 05/03/2018 up to 23:59 Hours.
