that IBPS CWE Clerk VI 2016 Notification has been released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to conduct
online examination for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection
of personnel for Clerical cadre Posts in the Participating Organisations is
tentatively scheduled in November/ December 2016 & January 2017. Eligible
candidates can apply online from 22-08-2016 to 12-09-2016. Other details like

Age
limit: Candidates age limit should be
between 20 to 28 years as on 01-08-2016, i.e. a candidate must have been born
not earlier than 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1996 (both dates
inclusive). Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03
years for OBC and 10 years for PWD candidates & other relaxation details
refer the notification.
Educational
Qualification: Candidate should possess Degree
(Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. of
India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central
Government & Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is
mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Computer
Operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as
one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
Selection
Process: Candidates will be selected on the
basis of Online Examination (Preliminary and Main).
Application
Fee: Candidate should pay Rs.100/- for
SC/ ST/ PWD/ EXSM candidates and Rs.600/- for all others through online by
using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet
Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. Bank Transaction charges for Online
Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the
candidate.
How

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Details: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Clerical Cadre vacancies which was approved by public sector banks. The candidates who are attempting the common written exam must have the specified age and necessary educational qualification. The following are the eligibility details…
Eligibility Criteria:
I.
Nationality/Citizenship:
A
candidate must be either -
(i)
a Citizen of India or
(ii)
a subject of Nepal or
(iii)
a subject of Bhutan or
(iv)
a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India or
(v)
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam
with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate
belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in
whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of
India.
II.
Age limit: The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum 28 years. i.e. a
candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than

III. Educational Qualification:

Computer Literacy: Operating and working
knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have

Proficiency in the Official Language of the
State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official
Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is
preferable. (Some questions may be put at the time of interview to ascertain
the candidate’s familiarity with the Official Language of the State/UT).
Ex-servicemen who do not possess the above
civil examination qualifications should be matriculate Ex-servicemen who have
obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate
in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of
service in the Armed Forces of the union.
Note: All the educational qualifications
mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt.
Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been
declared.

Exam Pattern:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection
(IBPS) conducts this Online Common Written Exam for Clerical Cadre posts. The
examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two
phases, preliminary and main. Total marks of Preliminary exam is 100 in a
duration of 1 hour for objective type questions & total marks of Main exam
is 200 in a duration of 2 hours for objective type questions. The tests except
the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and
Hindi.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be penalty for wrong answers
marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has
been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that
question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a
question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will
be no penalty for that question.
Scores: The corrected scores obtained by each
of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using
equipercentile method.
Cutoff Score: Each candidate will be required
to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be
considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on number of the State/
UT wise vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be
shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process,
scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the
candidates shortlisted for interview.
